ORELIA Embellished Mini Dress with Feather Trim in White

I was so excited to order this dress - it looks stunning on the model. I was hoping this could be my wedding reception dress but had to return it.

The dress ran large - I ordered a size Small but it was far too big and sack-like. While the detailing on the dress was stunning, the feathers couldn't be tamed and were stuck out facing up and downwards leaving a gap in the middle so it didn't show any collarbone at all.

The material was very thick and not flattering at all - it doesn't sit nicely on the body, it hides all curves or natural shape. It doesn't come in at the waist but goes straight down.

The dress was also very long - unlike the photos, it came to just above my knees.

The top of the dress rubbed and scratched against my skin leaving a red rash after only trying it on for 5 minutes.

Disaster - so unflattering, it made me look massive. I feel absolutely gutted - I couldn't wait to try on my first Lavish Alice dress :( I don't think I'll try again with a different dress as the return is taking ages to be paid as well, sadly it's not worth the hassle.

I tried on other dresses in similar style from Nadine Merabi but was dissapointed. Fitting was too small even in L size. This dress immediately felt like my dress! Looking forward to wearing this on my big day! Quality is even better in person. Thank you Lavish Alice for this beautiful dress x
